Phra Chaiwat (Small Buddha Image) Wat Mongkolbophit B.E. 2500
This Phra Chaiwat Mongkolbophit amulet, also known as the “Miniature Buddha with internal chime,” was created in B.E. 2500 (1957) at Wat Mongkolbophit, Ayutthaya. Crafted from a brass-gold alloy with gold gilding, the amulet features a chime bead (“kring”) inside, producing a resonant sound when moved — a distinctive characteristic of this sacred piece.
